He graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the Second University of Naples and later completed a university specialization in Informatics and Telematics in Health Sciences at the University of Naples Federico II. He carried out clinical assistance at the Dental Clinic of the Second University of Naples and at the dental clinic of the international town of Loppiano.
From 1999 to 2005 he taught Access to Biomedical Information and Dental Informatics in the Degree Program in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics at the Second University of Naples, now the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. He also taught in courses and doctoral programs devoted to biotechnology applied to health and biomedical technologies for dental sciences.
He is the author of scientific publications in Italian and international journals and has spoken at courses and conferences in Italy and abroad. Alongside clinical practice, he has long been interested in medical informatics, the history of medicine, and science communication; in this area he also contributed to the dental section of the Museum of Healthcare Arts in Naples.
He has a longstanding cultural commitment to dialogue among religions and cultures, as well as dialogue within Christianity. This path is also connected to the Focolare Movement: he is a member of the Service for Ecumenical and Interreligious Dialogue of the Archdiocese of Naples, part of the team coordinating the community of the city of Naples, and responsible for the Unity and Communication area of the Volunteers of God branch for Campania. He serves on the board of the Naples-Salerno interprovincial office of the Italian Dental Association (AIO) and on the national board of @ir - Artisti in Rete.
